Portable analyser for water using single or multiparameter probes; The YSI Pro Plus
The YSI Pro Plus analyser for water is designed for field use. This instrument has IP 67 ratings which means that it is protected against dust and immersion in water up to 1 meter. To achieve such specifications even the connectors between the meter and probe is made using military specs. It has a rubber moulded case for good feel and shock proof from a 1 meter drop. All probes can be installed with cable weights for easy immersion into the water surface for in depth water profiling. However the instrument floats if accidently dropped into water. Water parameters that can be measured are temperature, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, resistivity, specific conductance, salinity, total dissolved solids, pH, ORP, ammonium, ammonia, chloride nitrate. The quarto cable attached to the Pro Plus allows you to utilize 4 ports to measure temperature/conductivity, dissolved oxygen, and any two ion selective probes among which can be pH, ammonium, chloride, nitrate or ORP. The instrument has a 5000 data set memory with a data manager with flexible folders and site lists for superior data management. It has a USB connection for charging or data transfer. The data manager has a search function which is user defined which enables easy data retrieval. Cable lengths are from 4m to 30 m to help you reach deep into your water source.
