Positive Displacement Pumps

Lobe pumps – Durrex

Durrex twin rotor lobe pumps has been used in many industries for transferring liquids of high viscosity. The rotor and stator can be made of different materials to cater to your product needs. The seals can also specified to be single mechanical seal with water flush, or double mechanical seal with pressurized sealing fluid. The rotor do not touch each other and thus have a long life, only subject to wear by the pumped material. The rotor can be changed according to your needs. A single winged rotor has the largest pumping cavity per cycle. This enables the single rotor to transfer liquids with large particulates. However the flow is pulsating and the delivery pressure is low. A double winged rotor gives the pump the ability to pump products with smaller particulates like strawberries pieces in ice cream. The flow pulsation is better but still perceivable. The trilobe pump gives the least pulsation but lower capacity due to the lower cavity per revolution. Due to its construction the shear is high and cannot be used for shear sensitive products. The multi lobe pump provides the least pulsating flow but has a lower capacity. All these different lobes can be provided by Arasains Indonesia. Maximum pressure is 12 bar and capacity is 400m3/hr.

Submerged gear pump

The submerged gear pump is used to pump high viscosity liquid out of a sump. The pumping cavity is submerged in the liquid and is connected to the motor by a long shaft. The motor thus is above the liquid medium does not subjected to possibilities of leakages. A submerged motor is also not suitable for heated liquids.

Johnson internal gear pumps

Johnson gear pumps are used in industries usually for transporting high viscosity fluids like bitumen, chocolates, diesel fuel. These pumps are made with a sturdy design thus offering high reliability and long life. Johnson Indonesia gear pump is based on an internal idler gear rotating inside a larger rotor. The pumps are capable of high pressure and are self-priming. Shaft seal options include single and double mechanical seal, packed gland and cartridge seals. Single or double relief valves are available built in. The G and H series internal gear pumps are for high viscosity fluids and the L series is for low viscosity fluids. Magnetically driven gear pumps are also available on request for pumping hazardous fluids.-on. Connections from 32 to 150 mm.

Johnson pump filters

Johnson pump filters are important for smooth operations of positive displacement pumps. These remove unwanted debri which can damage the rotors. Johnson Indonesia supplies Top filters in two ranges, four material options and eleven separate sizes with a mesh size down to 10 microns. The filters are available in single or dual filter models. The dual filter option allows one basket to be cleaned when switched off line.
