Mixing and Vacuum Transfer Solutions for Industrial Applications
To kick of Engineering series of webinar for Year 2021, we started with Mixing and Vacuum Transfer Solutions for Industrial Applications. Fluid mixing theories and applications were expounded by our Komisaris and Technical Director, Dr Ir Larry Lee. We also have a second speaker from our Head Office, Mr KK Wong, who is a specialist in vacuum transfers. The technologies brought forth originated from USA, Germany and Sweden. The most interesting product was Indag from Germany. Dr Larry advised that Indag helps to mix very low amount of a liquid to solid, as low as 1% liquid. From 1% liquid to 80% or 90% or 99% liquid, the range could be changed by the feeder. Another advantage is we won’t break the cookies, because cookies is soft and we can’t easily mix cookies with like seeds or anything with chocolate as it’s very hard to mixing with normal mixer.
